What is ROT Ban?

ROT Ban is a gentle spray which is applied to your roof, preferentially as a preventative measure to remove Mildew, Algae, Mold, Moss, Fungus, and Lichen from your roof.

This is more than a cosmetic change. ROT Ban prevents premature roof failure. ROT Ban stops the cycle of rot scientifically, without powerwashing.

Is ROT Ban Safe?

When used as directed, ROT Ban is completely safe for plants, animals, and people.

Our guarantee includes a promise to repair or replace anything stained by ROT Ban. Starting in 1998, with over one million square feet of application by 2007, we have never replaced a plant, even though many grow right beside the roof runoff.

Costs to De-Moss your Home

Application costs vary due to factors such as size, height, steepness, accessibility and roofing material. All types of roofing are treatable with ROTban, including those on flat roofs. The price is low with simple, large applications, as low as $250 per condo unit, for example, and in some difficult applications, a home can cost perhaps $900 to save.

Seeing is Believing

Before ROT Ban treatment, in August 1998, the roof you see to your left had a heavy lichen infestation. The cost of treating this 30 sq. ft. area was just $9, as a part of a contract. The after picture was taken following FIVE YEARS of weathering.

ROT Ban also does wonders on asphalt roofs. Take note of the roof to your right, before and after ROT Ban treatment.

Six months after ROT Ban has been applied, the roof is beautifully clear of damaging growths.

ROT Ban Guarantee

ROT Ban will, over a period of six months, sterilize 97% of live growths on your roof. Twelve months later, your roof will have no moss larger than 0.5 cm across, or your investment in ROT Ban spray will be cheerfully refunded. The company must be notified of an unsuccessful application after six months and before eight months, to allow time to re-spray by the end of the eighth month.
